***My Journal is now friends only. I'm pretty leniant on the adding policy, basically if you add me I'll add you back. However I would like to mention that my life isn't all peaches and cream, there will be rants, craziness, and sometimes things of a more sexual nature (though these posts have become increasingly rare) mentioned in here.***

I have come across that quote time and time again and just love it. It's so very true. I am a follower of a pagan path that is Wiccan-influenced. I have an open mind and love learning about various cultures and religions and spiritualities. If you're a Christian but would like to be my friend, that is alright to. I just ask that you not preach at me or try to convert me. I find no comfort in the Christian faith, only judging and letdowns.

I support gay rights and animal welfare and you will not change my opinion on either. I believe gay marriage should be legal everywhere and that every person regardless of origin, color, race, sex, or sexuality should have EQUAL RIGHTS. The ethical treatment of animals is also important to me. There is no need to torture them even if they will later become your food. Animals have feelings just like humans do, they know what love and hate are. They can sense it. For these reasons I have chosen to be a Vegetarian. I am currently working on becoming Vegan. I don't judge those that aren't vegetarian and I don't try to push my views and beliefs on others, I simply ask that you have the same respect for my decisions.

Ecoconservation is something else I take great pride in. I believe very much in global warming and we all need to do our part to save the great planet that we live on. Mother Earth can only take so much abuse before she's had too much. It's evident in the warming temperatues, melting ice caps, and depleting crop lands. Mankind has taken too much and now we need to reverse the damage we have done.

I am a wannabe writer and work at that in my spare time. I write anything from short stories to poetry to novels to articles. And everything in between. My work covers a wide variety of topics usually centering around love somehow as love is very important to me. Not just boyfriend/girlfriend love (though that comes up too) but also love of self and planet and animals. Alot of times elements of my faith will come up in my works as well. I someday would like to extend my writing into photojournalism...yes I'm a wannabe photographer as well. Though the only camera I currently own (not including my cameraphone which is used to take all the pictures posted online) is an old film based camera. I am currently saving up to get a digital one.

In December 2006 I met ryuukojin, the guy of my dreams and we've been together since just shortly after that. He makes me happier than I've ever been and I'll love him until the day I die and beyond. He's an amazing person with alot of talent. I love you so much my sweet :)
